How exciting! Sounds like the boat has been perfect for you. Nothing lasts forever, and even the best-made plans have a way of falling through. Anyone who sees this as "I knew she would sell the boat" is boring.
It's so cool that you did this in the first place, and nobody can take the boating experience away from you. I am excited to see where you will go next!
I will miss boating updates! But it's completely valid and respectable to change course upon receiving new information. Shun the naysayers. I'm very excited for you and for your new opportunities!
Love love love this. It’s so important to be able to course correct (or not even correct, but course REdirect) for yourself when you realise that what you thought was for you is no longer what you want long term, and overcome fear of shame/criticism from others as a hurdle to doing what will benefit you most. Wishing you maximum oxygen and minimum shame in making a change. Change is growth, and growth should be celebrated and more importantly supported. And, we can’t grow if we stay in our comfort zones. Your boating adventure was not wasted time (or money imo — you had a great adventure!). It’s ok for things to be a season only and not an entire ~era~. Hoping you can continue to give yourself love and grace through transitions and can block out any internet negativity. People move homes, change their habits, change their sense of style etc all the time. This is no different! (And similar to previous, also is no one’s business but your own!)
All I want to say is “aaaaaand she’s back!” In the best way possible. I’m so excited for you Hannah!! Loved the boating phase, but if I’m being honest - I wanted more NYC phase! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I’d say your boating experience was a huge success. You learned, grew and achieved a goal you set for yourself!
💯💯💯 thank you!!!
