I, too, was (and still am as an adult) obsessed with these muffins. I also loved the batter so much that I would make an extra packet just to eat un-baked. 😅 I made a batch not too long ago to take to a family function and no one ate them. I’ve never been more offended.
I have such visceral memories of the feelings of being called a liar for something i know i did not do as a kid. Those huge feelings of iniustice and undiagnosed adhd... Ah hindsight is 20/20. I still react completely overboard when this sort of thing haooens. I feel so bad for 3yr old Hannah!!
Literally just today my 7-year-old came home from school and told me she was mad at Ms. A (a helper during lunch time). She said Ms. A scolded her for screaming during lunch. My daughter said it was not her that yelled, but Sam. And she cannot help that Sam screams like a girl. I feel like teachers blaming kids for something THEY DID NOT DO is (sadly) a tale as old as time.
Hannah. Please go make those muffins right now. I need a happy ending.
The tantrum I would have thrown at being called a liar!
FUCK THAT LADY! Also, you should try sprinkling any Martha White muffin mix on top of Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream. Divine.

It’s crazy to me that people have memories from age three!! I truly can’t even remember being 8
I hope today goes well for you! Treat yourself today ❤️ and I hope your rash has gone down!
Not me googling how to make strawberry muffins lol cute story 💗
I believe my first heartbreak was experiencing a teachers absolute disbelief in what I was saying. Why are they so adamantly mean?
